Ryan Folsom Memorial Run
In Memory of Ryan Folsom (1988 - 2018)
Ryan touched many lives in Southern Oregon. He is the model of what we want our youth to become. The annual fun run sponsored by the Southern Oregon BYU Alumni Chapter was re-named in 2018 in honor of Ryan to provide his friends and family an opportunity to gather and remember him each year.

Memorial Run
The 2nd annual Ryan Folsom Memorial Run was held on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the campus of Ryan's alma mater -- North Medford High School. More than 200 people participated in the kids' race around the the track and the 5k throughout the NMHS campus. We enjoyed a touching message from Ryan's brother Rob and heard from a couple of the 2018 Ryan Folsom Memorial Scholarship recipients from NMHS. Depsite the rain, we enjoyed a morning of music, food, and entertainment as we remembered Ryan.
Scholarship Donations
We encourage community members to make a donation in Ryan's honor to a scholarship fund to help local youth. Half of the donations will be given to North Medford High School Foundation Scholarships and half of the donations will be go to the Southern Oregon BYU Alumni Chapter Scholarship fund. The Folsom family reviews the scholarship applications and decides on the recipients. You will receive a receipt for your donation. Thank you for your generosity.
